The answers to these questions indicate if our patients are Thinking Well. Inherent to Thinking Well is the ability to adapt to emotional and mental stress without illness.
We were designed to handle short instances of stress such as a barking dog, adapt with increased blood pressure to get away and then return to a normal state. However, today we have a seemingly unending barrage of stress in the form of commuting, deadlines, finances, family concerns, media, connectivity 24/7 and more. Our bodies attempt to adapt again and again, leading to exhaustion.
We provide an oasis to all the hustle and bustle at our wellness center. We often describe it as a Distressing Zone set up to promote natural healing. Our staff members are warm and friendly and truly concerned about our patients.
We hold weekly workshops to educate and inspire our patients. One of the topics is Mental De-stressing Techniques where we teach Visualization, Meditation and Breath Work. This allows the person to detach in a health way and see the problem from a different perspective.
The goal is for our patients to Reclaim their lives and we provide the knowledge, technology and personalized coaching to accomplish this.
